WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING?

In simple terms, screen printing involves using a framed mesh panel to transfer ink onto a substrate. A design is exposed onto the screens after which the areas around the design are blocked out using a liquid emulsion to prevent ink from getting into the non-printed areas. Ink is then applied using downward pressure onto the substrate, making it a super-versatile method that can be used on anything from clothing and home textiles to signs, displays and much more.
